Bulk Carrier Vessels
Draft Survey
- Draft survey is a marine measurement technique used to determine the weight of cargo loaded or discharged from a vessel by calculating changes in the ship’s displacement. This is done by recording draft mark readings before and after cargo operations, along with adjustments for ballast water and onboard consumables.
Bunker Detective Survey-221B
- A 221B Bunker Detective Survey is a specialized, comprehensive inspection carried out on board vessels to identify any hidden or undeclared fuel (bunkers). Our surveyors perform thorough and systematic inspections to detect such discrepancies, ensuring full transparency and acting solely in the best interests of the appointing party.
Bunker Rob Survey
- An independent bunker survey is conducted to provide a precise and accurate measurement of fuel oil and diesel oil remaining in a vessel’s tanks, typically during on-hire and off-hire charter transitions. Our surveyors deliver impartial and reliable determination of the actual bunker quantities on board, acting solely on behalf of the appointing party.
Bunker Stem/Quantity Survey
- An independent bunkering survey is conducted to accurately determine the quantity of fuel transferred between a barge and a vessel, helping to prevent shortages and disputes. Our surveyors closely monitor the entire bunkering operation and perform precise calculations of both supplied and received quantities, ensuring transparent, reliable, and unbiased results on behalf of the appointing party.
Cargo Loading, Discharge & Supervision Services
- We provide end-to-end cargo supervision services, including preparation of preliminary and final stowage plans, continuous monitoring of loading operations, and ensuring proper stowage and securing of cargo onboard. A detailed report is issued upon completion, and our expertise also covers the safe handling and discharge of high-value cargo, project cargo, machinery, and specialized packages.
Hatch Cover Weather Tightness Test
- We carry out hose testing to verify the water tight integrity of cargo holds, ensuring they are effectively sealed against water ingress. This inspection can be conducted prior to loading or as part of a vessel’s technical condition survey, helping to confirm that holds remain dry and suitable for safe cargo operations.
Cargo Hold Sealing & Reporting
- Upon completion of loading, cargo holds are securely sealed using tagged and numbered seals to ensure integrity and traceability. A detailed report, including photographic evidence, is provided to the client for full documentation and assurance.

Oil/Product Tanker Vessels
Port Captaincy / Cargo Superintendency
- We act as shore-based representatives for shipowners, charterers, and operators, overseeing vessel operations, cargo handling, and port logistics to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective turnaround. Our services include inspections of oil and chemical tankers to assess vessel condition, onboard safety, environmental compliance, and suitability for handling hazardous cargoes. We also provide technical guidance on the safe carriage of chemicals, attend pre-loading surveys to verify tank cleanliness and readiness of cargo systems, and remain onboard during loading and discharge operations to ensure full compliance with regulations and industry best practices while safeguarding our clients’ interests.
Marine Audits & PSC Preparation Services
- Our team attends vessels to conduct navigational audits, ISPS audits, internal and external audits, and pre-PSC inspection audits to ensure readiness for Port State Control (PSC) inspections. These proactive, mock inspections help identify potential deficiencies, minimize detention risks, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.

Container Vessels
Out-of-Gauge (OOG) Cargo Survey
- An Out-of-Gauge (OOG) cargo survey is a specialized inspection for cargo exceeding standard container dimensions in length, width, or height. It ensures safe loading, proper securing and lashing on equipment such as flat racks, while confirming compliance with safety standards and supporting effective transport planning.
New Container Survey Services – Vancouver
- We provide comprehensive new container survey services across ports in Vancouver, covering dry vans, open-top containers, and flat racks. Our inspections ensure structural integrity, proper operation of doors and locking systems, cleanliness, watertightness, and suitability for cargo loading, including checks for damage, residues, and internal safety hazards. We also verify compliance of specialized equipment such as tarpaulins, roof bows, stanchions, and lashing arrangements. Post-packing inspections confirm proper cargo stowage, documentation placement, compliance with phytosanitary requirements where applicable, and secure sealing to minimize the risk of damage, contamination, or theft during transit.
